Thermo King selects TCCI / Que to supply compressors Thermo King® Corporation of Minneapolis, Minnesota selects T/CCI Manufacturing/QUE Products to supply compressors for their TriPac™ Hybrid Auxiliary Idle Reduction and Temperature Management System (APU) as well as Thermo King’s Fresh and Frozen direct drive temperature controlled truck refrigeration units.

T/CCI Manufacturing, in partnership with their sister company QUE Products, have been developing and producing industry leading QP model swash plate compressors for several years.

"The quality and reputation of our new product lines has lead to our rapid growth and secured many new customers in both the OE and aftermarket markets. The addition of Thermo King to our growing list of partners is a testament to the quality of our products as well a s our superior customer service," T/CCI Vice President Richard Demirjian said. "We look forward to the new partnership."

The TriPac APU will feature the QP15 (146cc) compressor for R134a refrigerant. The TriPac unit eliminates unnecessary truck idling, lowers fuel costs, while benefiting the environment. The quiet, hybrid system provides cab power to keep drivers comfortable without running the engine, and saves on maintenance costs as well.
TCCI opens new facility in Ningbo, China TCCI Manufacturing/QUE Products are celebrating the grand opening of a new, state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Ningbo. The move comes as a result of continued company growth over the last five years, creating a need for a much larger facility to accommodate new compressor assembly, expanded validation capabilities as well as more office and lab space for an increased technology department and larger staff. The new 14,000 square meter facility was fully operational November 1, 2011.

T/CCI Manufacturing/Que Products of Decatur, Illinois and Ningbo, China has been presented with Red Dot Corporation’s Supplier Excellence Award for 2010. T/CCI and Que are global leaders in the design, production and distribution of heavy duty air-conditioning compressors. The partner companies have worked with Red Dot for more than 20 years on OE and Aftermarket air conditioning programs including the Oshkosh M-ATV military vehicle. This is the second consecutive year they will receive the award.

Spheros GmbH T/CCI has been named Supplier of the Year by PACCAR Parts/PACCAR China. The award was presented at the PACCAR Parts Supplier Conference and Banquet in Shanghai on April 15, 2011. The award was given to T/CCI in recognition of their superior quality, operations management, and customer service.

T/CCI has been a long term supplier to PACCAR since 1988. In 2010 they began supplying PACCAR Parts product from out Ningbo facility and received the China Supplier of the Year award the very same year.

Spheros GmbH T/CCI is now supplying compressors to Spheros GmbH, the world's leading developers and manufacturers of air conditioners for buses. Spheros offers customized total solutions for all bus climate control issues.

T/CCI continues to supply top quality products for air conditioning units used in both on and off highway heavy duty vehicles

CIAAR T/CCI is now supplying heavy-duty a/c compressors for the Pelican three-wheel broom sweeper by Elgin Sweeper Company. T/CCI recently entered into an agreement with SGM Company to supply Elgin sweepers. Located in Elgin, IL, their sweepers have been cleaning the roads since 1919 and are used around the world. Claas combines AVERO and TUCANO choose T/CCI:

Claas GmbH, a leader in the production of Agricultural equipment in Harsewinkel Germany, has selected T/CCI Manufacturing LLC as an OE supplier of a/c compressors for their Avero and Tucano combines.

T/CCI, the manufacturer of Que Products compressors was chosen for these two applications after extensive lab and field testing. Both combines use heavy duty QP7H15 models that are equipped with dust shields to protect the clutch on the compressor.

The first announcement from Claas was for the AVERO, a combine in the compact range for small and mid-size applications. Soon after this new compressor business was awarded to T/CCI, Claas announced that T/CCI would also be the supplier of a/c compressors for the larger TUCANO combine. The a/c compressor on the TUCANO is similar to the one used on the AVERO except it has a larger clutch.

Heavy duty compressors from T/CCI provide superior cooling and lubrication on those demanding a/c applications that require long refrigerant lines.
2010 Automotive Communications Awards (ACA) has named T/CCI the winner in two Business to Business award categories. T/CCI and DCC Marketing won the award for best Corporate Image Campaign for the T/CCI Corporate Video and best Magazine Article – General Market/Special Interest for the Cool Under Pressure advertorial in OEM Off Highway.

The Automotive Communications Awards are sponsored by the Women’s Board and supported by the Automotive Communication Council. The awards applaud companies/agencies that provide automotive information through outstanding advertising, marketing and PR efforts. The 2010 ACA program attracted a record number of entries and outstanding work across all media.

MACS board member, Michael Dawson of T/CCI Mfg. LLC recently visited Shanghai, China for the China International Automotive Air Conditioning (CIAAR) show.
Mike has been MACS ambassador to the CIAAR show for several years and he has been honored by show officials with helping to cut the opening ribbon.

T/CCI is now supplying compressors for Autocar in Hagerstown, Indiana and Monaco in Eugene, Oregon.
The Autocar brand, now owned by Grand Vehicle, has been in existence 111 years with an emphasis on commercial heavy duty vehicles. Autocar was a mainstay supplier to oil field, mining and logging industries because of their ability to meet any challenge.

Monaco is one of the nation’s largest builders of motor homes, producing brands including Holiday Rambler, Monaco Coach, Beaver, Safari, McKenzie and R-Vision. Monaco was purchased by Navistar International in June of 2009.
TCCI receives red dot supplier excellence award T/CCI Manufacturing of Decatur, Illinois and Ningbo, China was presented Red Dot Corporation’s SUPPLIER EXCELLENCE AWARD for 2009.
In a ceremony in Seattle, Washington on February 24, 2010 Red Dot’s President and CEO, Mr. Randy Gardiner stated that T/CCI scored a perfect 100 points and received an "Exceptional" overall rating for 2009. T/CCI received top scores in Quality, Delivery, and Cost Reduction.

Carey Suto, Global Supply Chain Manager for Red Dot stated that T/CCI was the only supplier to achieve this prestigious award. Lisa Morison, Quality Systems Manager at Red Dot praised T/CCI for outstanding support through out the entire year and that our hard work was appreciated by all of Red Dot and their customers.

The Supplier Excellence Award will be shared with all the employees of T/CCI and Que Products and the plaque will be displayed in a place of honor in the company’s lobby.

Michael Dawson, Director of Sales for T/CCI Manufacturing and a member of Board of Directors for the Mobile Air-Conditioning Society Worldwide (MACS) received the Ambassador Award at the International reception of the annual MACS convention held in Las Vegas. The Ambassador Award was presented to Mr. Dawson by Elvis Hoffpauir, President of MACS, "in recognition and appreciation of his commitment of time, resources, and dedication to the mission of Mobile Air-Conditioning Society Worldwide."

Lindsey Parrish receives MACS Pioneer Award February 2009: Lindsey Parrish receives MACS Pioneer Award

Lindsey Parrish, Director of Sales for T/CCI Manufacturing, was recognized for his outstanding contributions to the mobile air-conditioning industry during his career at Borg-Warner’s York Division and at T/CCI. At the annual Mobile Air-Conditioning Society Worldwide (MACS) convention in Dallas, TX, Parrish received the distinguished Pioneer Award. In a special ceremony, Mr. Ray Aylesworth who founded and chaired the Pioneer Award committee for many years, was invited to present this award to his life long friend.
